Track Your Adventures with ExplorOz Tracker! Explore the world with confidence using your phone or tablet! Track your trips anywhere, even offline.
KEY FEATURES - No maps to download or use within this app (this is not a navigation or mapping app) - No account needed to view another person's trip progress - Membership license required to enable device tracking on your own device - follow the in-app link for details.
DEVICE TRACKING With a Member account, the app detects your device's movement and records GPS readings to collect highly accurate "position data" as you travel. This data can be recorded without a WiFi or mobile data connection and automatically syncs to your account on our server when your device connects to the internet. Your traveled path is displayed as a route line on a map, and privacy options let you decide who can view your map. Your map will also appear in the app for your own use.
Share your Tracker map link with selected friends and family so they can view your tracking on any device using the Tracker app or on the ExplorOz website. Ask them to download this app - it's free!
Install Tracker on other family devices to monitor their movements (e.g., ensuring children reach school safely, tracking a partner who runs or cycles, or monitoring a family member on holiday). Simply log in to the app with your Member account to control the settings. Each app download is free!

GPS OPERATION: For Tracking, your device must have an inbuilt or external GPS to show the current position and use navigation features. If you have a WiFi-only iPad, connect an external GPS receiver.
NETWORK CONNECTION: While tracking can occur without an internet connection, a network connection is required to sync all stored position data to your personal Tracking map.
BATTERY USAGE: Tracking can be done while the app runs in the background and with the screen-saver on. Note that GPS usage may decrease battery life.

Terrible I tried to create an account with the newly downloaded app as instructed, and it simply would not register. I tried re-installing, but it was the same, and the link in the help section was also dead. I even allowed all permissions, and I'm doing all this from a 2020 galaxy device. This was recommended to me as a back-up navigation service as I do a lot of outback travel, but this has left me thoroughly unimpressed. No subscription from me, I'll stick with Aus Topo Maps I think.

I have paid for this app thinking I would have access to 4wd maps as it lead me to believe. I don't have access to any maps. It is asking for me to pay again to access maps. Right now it doesn't do anymore than what Google Maps would do for me. The email help service also did not assist me in any way. This app is a waste of money, and I believe it leads you in to pay more to get what you believe you were getting in the first place. Response from Explore Oz is incorrect. I did pay $59.99
