This is an app that helps visitors with Expo information and is provided by NTT Group as a sponsor of "Personal Agent for Visitors," one of the Future Society Showcase Projects (Digital Expo) of the official EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai projects.
It will help visitors have a personalized and enjoyable experience at the Expo, including AI-based recommendations for day plans and experiences tailored to your preferences.
The main features of the app are as follows.
■ Expo site map - View information about facilities such as pavilions/events/restaurants, etc. - View current availability for reservation-only pavilions and events. - View crowd level status (crowded areas, restrooms, restaurants) within the Expo site.
■ Route navigation - The map will guide you with the best route to your destination. - By setting a waypoint, you can also set a route with stops at restrooms, etc., along the way. - You can also use AR-based route navigation anywhere within the Expo site. Even if you're not good with maps, you can intuitively figure out where to go.
■ One-day tour plan (My Plan) - The AI analyzes your preferences and route efficiency and automatically creates the perfect one-day plan for you. You can spend the whole day enjoying the Expo, even if you have no specific destination in mind.
■ Recommended & useful information for you - The AI will show you recommended pavilions and events based on your 'Likes.' - You will receive notifications to remind you of your reservations, weather forecasts, and other information. - You can add pavilions and events that interest you to your favorites.
■ Miscellaneous/entertainment services - Try a simple EXPO Quest, and when you complete them all, you will receive a limited-edition digital stamp. - You can submit your own ideas on various themes about future society in 2050. You can also see AI-generated images of future society based on what everyone has submitted.

Very annoying that it zooms out when you switch between map sections, like events, food and restrooms. It's clunky, not so well-designed, it's like no practical actual user feedback loop existed. Assuming they've done this for other events, it's surprisingly bad, I'd expect they'd learn from experience. To use it you have to tap every time on a picture, which makes no sense unless they're working around a bug or something. You'd expect to see info efficiently and be able to go back, but no.

Without EXPO ticket ID is not beneficial. It keeps logging me out after every session, so I need to log in (includes verification through code sent via email, so it takes ages) every time I want to use it. Doesn't show water fountains, doesn't show same day on-site reservation terminals. Doesn't allow me to change date of events in seach tool to future, so you can only add the events to your favorites the same day, not in advance. Doesn't show waiting times - for that you need different app.
