Generally, it can do the basic job of converting images with clear text into basic text. However, you have to do a basic tidy up like putting back the inverted comma for quotes in the text.

I tried several times to extract text from a file that was 3.6 MB. The app repeatedly told me I could only use files that were less than 5 MB. I hated math in school, but I got a bachelor's in Computer Engineering. 3.5 < 5. Maybe that's changed since the 1990s ?

Description states it allows batch processing, but it only allows you to upload 3 images. Technicality like this is just as dishonest as lying. Update after developer response: I do understand that I can do many tiny batches, manually, in a row. It feels silly to point this out, but that's not a batch process. To be clear, I have no problem with functionality being behind a pay wall - Just disclose actual functionality in the app I'm downloading, so you don't waste my time. 1⭐️

Installed. I know it says in app adverts but the adverts popped up at every stage of the conversion process and basically hampered doing anything. Completely understand need for adverts to fund development, but they can't be so often that they interfere at every stage. Uninstalled within 5 minutes.
