Indiviually informed - the whole week now in one app Android tablet app! "F.A.Z. Kiosk" combines the clarity and aesthetics of the newspaper with the convenience of your tablet. You can now enjoy the combination of classic and digital newspaper design. Additional features such as the article view, “topic monitor, a “read later” list, search and archive functions, complete the newspaper experience. You get with this app, the Frankfurter Allgemeine newspaper from Monday to Saturday and the Sunday newspaper the day before from 20.00 clock. Later in the evening follows the Rhine-Main-Zeitung. The first 14 days can be read free of charge all the available editions. After that, you can purchase all other issues individually or a subscription of your choice. You already have a subscription to the e-paper FAZ and / or F.A.S.? Then you can also use the services of the Android app. Simply log in with your user data from "My FAZ.NET" in the app. More information is available in the help (i) section within the app.

Almost as good as reading the paper version, sometimes better, as the text of each article can be displayed separately and is thus more legible and easier to read than just zooming in on the newspaper page. The articles can also be printed either on paper or (with a suitable app) stored as PDF for future reference.

The App is good overall, but it has one really annoying problem. A lot of the time when I scroll within one paper or one article downwards the whole newspaper closes, and I land on the home screen of the app. The problem seems to be random and occurs more often when I scroll fast. I have tried everything, but it keeps happening. Very annoying!

Recently FAZ forced all users to update their "Kiosk" APP. Since this update it is no longer possible to read any E Paper that was downloaded before the update. On my current phone I lost more than 18 months of downloaded E Papers. I can no longer read, nor search in them. Everything I want to read, I must download again. I did not check how much going backwards it is possible to download. But for sure I got neither the time nor the download capacity to download the lost materials. Unacceptable

Bad and not free as stated! Stated free, but it is not. After 2 weeks must be psid. Besides this, I have to download the whole issue? Nonsense! And then to zoom?? Incredible. Have you guys ever looked at other, COMFORTABLE news apps?
