Face Shape Finder & Glasses

Find your face shape from a single selfie, then see which glasses frame styles eyewear guides often suggest for it. Face Shape is a hands-on face shape finder: you tap eight points on your own photo, and the app compares your proportions with the seven classic face shapes.

HOW IT WORKS
• Take a front-facing photo inside the oval guide, with your hair pulled back from the forehead.
• Tap 8 points: hairline, chin, both sides of the forehead, both cheekbones and both jaw corners.
• A 2.5× magnifier shows what is under your finger. Drag any point to fine-tune it, or undo the last one.
• The app works out three ratios: face length, forehead width and jaw width, each compared with cheekbone width.

YOUR RESULT
• The closest of seven face shapes: oval, round, square, oblong, heart, diamond or triangle.
• When two shapes are almost equally close, you also see "close to … as well". Many faces sit between categories.
• A warning appears if your head looks turned to one side, so you know a straight-on retake will help.
• Your three proportions are shown as plain numbers.

GLASSES FOR YOUR FACE SHAPE
Each result lists frame styles often suggested for that shape (for example rectangular, aviator, browline, cat-eye, round, oval or rimless) and the styles guides often say to go easy on. These are common style conventions, not rules. Wear what you like.

TIPS FOR A RELIABLE RESULT
Hold the phone at eye level, about arm's length away, and look straight into the camera. A phone held very close makes the middle of the face look wider. Use even light and a neutral expression.

FAQ
Does the app judge my looks?
No. It does not rate or score appearance. Face shapes are a styling convention used by eyewear and hair guides.

Does it measure frame size or pupillary distance?
No. It works with ratios only, not millimetres. Get frame size and PD from an optician.

What happens to my photo?
The photo is temporary. It is not uploaded, not added to your gallery and not kept with saved results; only the numbers you choose to save are stored. No account is needed.

Why can the result change between photos?
Lighting, hair, head angle, camera distance and exactly where you tap all affect the ratios. If you land between two shapes, take another photo and compare.

LIMITS
Face Shape does not place anything for you: every point is yours, so the result follows your taps. Try frames on in person before you buy.

Recent changes:
Tapping “Save result” no longer brings up an ad over your result. If one is due, it waits for your next tap on “Styles” or “History”: about half a second later it appears over “Measure”, and that tab opens once you close it. Touch the screen again in that moment and the tab opens without an ad; Back keeps you on “Measure”. Coming back from an ad no longer triggers a second one.
