Description by SkyNavis(from Google Play)
Test a location. Play a route. Explore the sky.
Fake GPS Tools brings together location simulation for Android app testing and diagnostics of your phone's real GNSS receiver. Prepare repeatable location scenarios, then explore satellites and receiver measurements in one app.
LOCATION TESTING - Choose a point on the map or search for an address. - Import a GPX route and simulate movement at an adjustable speed. - Start from a selected point within a route. - Set speed, altitude and accuracy ranges, with stop, reverse and loop options. - Keep simulation running in the background with a notification. Pause or resume a route, or stop simulation, without reopening the app. - Reuse saved places and routes from favorites and history.
SATELLITES AND RECEIVER DIAGNOSTICS - Rotate the interactive 3D sky view, switch to 2D or inspect the satellite list. - See satellite constellations, signal levels and which satellites the receiver uses in its fix. - Explore position, receiver time, raw GNSS measurements and signal history, where supported by the phone. - Record GNSS sessions and replay them later. Background observation is a separate option.
JAMMING AND SPOOFING INDICATORS Follow suspicious changes in available receiver measurements, with explanations and an event history. These checks are experimental: a warning is not proof of an attack, and no warning does not prove that the signals are genuine. Poor reception can have other causes; interference already present when observation starts may go unnoticed.
YOUR WORKSPACE Light and dark themes, eight interface languages, no advertising or analytics SDKs, and no account required. Saved places, routes and GNSS recordings stay in app storage on the device. Map downloads and address searches may contact external providers.
BEFORE YOU START Requires Android 8.0 or newer. For location simulation, enable Android Developer options and select Fake GPS Tools as the mock location app. No root is required. Receiver diagnostics need location permission; available measurements depend on the phone and reception conditions. Background behavior depends on the device's power management.
Android marks simulated coordinates as mock. Simulation does not create hardware satellites or guarantee a GPS fix in other apps. Fake GPS Tools is for development and testing, not navigation or safety decisions.
