- this damn thing is ok to use for children but not for teenagers, and I have fallen victim to this app. With a strict parent. Strict everything. So no. parents. Keep this app for children under 13, and after 15 you SHOULD remove it. Let the teen breath. Thank you. But good job developers/creators of this app, it does keep children safe and parents alert.

Download to give your child: Social ostracism when they can't talk to friends Paranoia about using their device in case it gets locked (app is also known to randomly lock devices without parental input) Strained relationship with you, the parent Attempts to squeeze in as much time as possible when the phone is unlocked Ability to do schoolwork at the whim of parental approval to unlock device and approve apps Overall bad time. You can even block the camera app, for that extra tiger parent feel!

I hate this app. There's no time for anything, or anyone. I can't talk to my friends without screen time locking my phone, and even then I can't call my friends because "oh well you can't", can't even call my family other than my mother, such a useless app and anyone who uses it on their child deserves the silent treatment for the rest of that child's life. This takes away all forms of freedom and happiness from your child and doesn't give it back. I don't recommend this app, parents. I hate it.
