I'm using the app with my BTR-17. Admittedly, the UI is a bit clunky, but the EQ is fantastic. The only gripe I have is that I don't seem to be able to connect with my Snow sky Disk. @Fiio support: Can you give me a clue? I'm on a Google Pixel 10 Pro XL with Android 17 beta. Oh yes, I can't upload an avatar picture because the controls are so far up in the corners that they overlap with the notification bar.

It does the job but needs more tools! I have a retro nano, and I need to have a way to skip tracks using my headphones, but they only have a puase button. Add an option to double-click puase/play to skip tracks. I would also like to remove some modes and maybe add my own if that is possible anyway retro nano 10/10 fiio app 8/10

I had some Bluetooth connection issues trying to connect the app on Bluetooth, but I solved that problem by connecting the device first on Bluetooth and then installing the app and everything is fine now. I suppose that is a know haw and that's why I have given 4 stars. My device is FiiO BTA 30 Pro.

Takes like a whole minute to apply an EQ profile. Takes 15 seconds to switch between each menu. Each PEQ value needs to be input individually and takes 2-3 seconds to apply. This app is terrible and so is BTR15 since this app is the only way you can apply EQ profiles on it. Please firmware update for supporting for fiio control via USB, on the website

Edit: March 2026, app version 4.0.3, KA1 (firmware v1.30) FiiO Control app able to connect to the KA1, but music playback must be started beforehand, or it will cut out and nothing can be heard until the KA1 is physically disconnected/reconnected. Same if music paused too long. The LED properly changing colors for HD audio, etc. is hit-and-miss - only works sometimes. Indicator lights settings working correctly. EQ working again. Device status > Settings cog not functional.

Please fix the crackling popping sound with the FiiO JA11 when using it with android phone. Laptop works fine. The culprit is 44.1khz sampling rate. Every other sample rate works perfect, no popping sound. Kindly give an option in the app to set sampling rate to 48khz in Android as older android versions don't support it natively. Note that this issue does not occur in exclusive USB access apps like Hi By Music. Only non-exclusive apps like YT, Apple Music, Spotify etc. Every other sound.
