Oh please, COME ON your uneducated whiners! Some of you who think this PLUGIN (NOT app) is nefarious (whoa, big word there, sorry) can't even write in plain English. Ordinarily (sorry another big word) I'd try to be helpful by directing whiners to the info resources already stated by the developer here, but I doubt most of the whiners would go there, let alone understand any of it. How sad. So uninstall it if you don't like it. That is, IF you know how to uninstall stuff from your phones. Geeeez.

Hmm, yes very suspicious indeed, like those weirdos who think the world is actually round! Lol, what don't people get? It's a PLUG-IN, it's been written by this developer to allow some of us to run video we otherwise wouldn't! Holy cow!?!?? Seriously? To the Dev, thanks very much for your efforts, it works perfectly for me doing EXACTLY what it's meant to! Let me cast video I haven't been able to, not all, just some, so THANK-YOU! I know your efforts aren't a conspiracy, some people eh? Cheers:)

File URI is a simple and helpful plugin that allows your file manager to open a variety of different file extensions that it wouldn't normally be able to. The ridiculous reviews that claim the app is nefarious are from uneducated people without an understanding of how the Android OS actually functions. 5⭐ for functionality and support of various file extensions as advertised.
★★☆☆☆
As it says in reviews, it can harm your phone.
