CardGuard by First Financial Bank is an exclusive app that gives you real-time control of your FirstPlus debit card(s). With CardGuard, you can decide exactly when, where and how your card can be used, helping you to manage your spending and reduce the risk of fraud.

With CardGuard you can:

• Turn your debit card on and off with a single touch. When the card is off, all purchases and ATM withdrawals are declined until you turn the card on again — giving you peace of mind in case your card is ever lost or stolen.

• Restrict transactions to a specific region by using an interactive map to specify cities, states or zip codes.

• Restrict transactions to merchants within a certain range of your location using your phone’s GPS.

• Enable or disable online and international transactions.

• Set spending limits by dollar amount and/or monitor spending by merchant category, such as gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants and hotels.

• Set spending limits for children, employees or other card users by transaction amount and/or merchant category.

• Prevent potential fraud by setting up alerts to inform you when the card is used; when a transaction is approved but exceeds your guidelines; or when a transaction has been attempted but declined. These alerts are sent immediately after a transaction has taken place or has been attempted.

• View your account balance and transaction history
