Description
Northwest Bank Card Secure protects your debit cards by sending transaction alerts and enabling you to define when, where and how your cards are used. Download to your smartphone, then set your preferences to monitor and manage your cards.
Alerts Enable Safe, Secure Card Usage Real-time alerts for PIN and signature transactions keep you informed of your card usage to quickly detect unauthorized or fraudulent activity.
Location-Based Controls and Alerts Restrict transactions to merchants near your location (using your phone’s GPS) or by region using city, state, country or zip code on an interactive map.
Usage Controls and Alerts Set spending limits to decline transactions above your thresholds. Monitor activity by category such as gas stations and restaurants, and by type: in-store purchases, e-commerce transactions and ATM transactions.
Card On/Off Setting When the card is “on” transactions are allowed per settings. When the card is “off” no purchase or withdrawals are approved until the card is subsequently turned back to “on”. This control can be used to disable a lost or stolen card or help prevent fraudulent activity.

Incredibly simple way to place a lock your bank card. I absolutely love it! With all the online shopping I do nowadays, this app has become an indispensable part of my life. It gives me the control to switch my debit card on/off anytime of the day or night, with just a single touch. To me, it's been an absolute life-saver because I can't even tell you how many times I've discovered some crazy, unauthorized charges to my bank because someone hijacked my debit card number again.

I like the app but getting 2 notifications is overkill. I want the purchase notifications, but I don't need a second notification preaching to me about "Understanding my purchase habits". I'm an adult. Please give me an option to silence the "Understanding my purchase habits" notification.

I have been banking at the Ankeny, IA location since the bank was built since I carried the bricks for it. As to their card it works great. As to keeping your accounts up to date they are lousy because I never see anything that is pending, and I'm on Social Security and VA Disability which are both direct deposit by the federal Government and baking at this bank for some 20 years I know how the system works. This bank needs to pay attention to their loyal customers more and their accounts updated
