Jan 09 2026. Fitcamx 4k front & Rear, OBD pwr hardwired, 2026 Santa Fe Hybrid Calligraphy / Samsung Flip7 phone. This app connects to my phone without issue, quickly and easily. Clips are dated and time stamped and in order. Viewing them just requires a click. No delays. Viewing live feed is just as easy. Romany 1-star Reviews had me very concerned, I'm not sure if app has been updated or if others are having compatibility problems due to their phones but for me the app works great.

This app works as long as you override any other overpowering Wi-Fi. For it to work on my Samsung 24+, I turn off my phone's Bluetooth while in my 2025 Bronco to connect to the app. The only time you really need the app is when you're trying to download cam content. The downloads take about 1 minute tops. Can't use autoplay and the app at the same time and your car has to be on and running for the app to work, so it can connect to the camera Wi-Fi.

Not the very best camera vis-à-vis features (e.g., especially parking mode), but I liked this cam more than all others tested. Why? For me, it was important no one is going to break into my car to steal it. Just wish they made models for all my family (Seville) and friends (Q50).

Far from perfect, but it does the job. A Sometimes a bit slow to connect, but after you're on the camera's Wi-Fi network, it works ok. Would be better if the app could force my phone to connect to the dashcam for sure. Caching the camera's data could significantly improve user experience plus the app could take some UI tweaking as well, but most of the negative reviews I'm reading here are either based on a different model than what I have, or just user errors.

FitcamX dash cam doesn't work correctly! Doesn't record sound and is not compatible to my BMW M2 camera never was able to connect to my Wi-Fi or to the FitcamX App

Extremely slow. Camera stopped recording 5 months ago...nothing in the SD card. Live view works and app says "recording" yet it's not.
