Nexar saves what matters most. Your drives are saved to your phone based on available space. Dangerous incidents are automatically uploaded to your Nexar cloud, where they are never erased.
Nexar lets you control how much storage the app uses.
The dash cam connects to the app using its own WiFi signal. You'll still be able to use your data plan.

I will be honest I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a dash cam, and I am very pleased with this one not only does it take a pretty good picture or video the audio is in bad also

Updt3: definitely much better. No more syncing issues. Wish option to sync to the cloud can be disabled. Thanks. Updt2: last app update claims that it addresses 'sync to cloud' issue - it does not. Desperately need option to manually sync to cloud. Updt: constantly trying to sync drives to the cloud. This is the most annoying thing ever. Solution is to log out from the app. Camera is great though and the app got better over the years...

I used to think I had the best dash cam until all of my drives disappeared and with no support from the company it renders the dash cams useless! Near only cares about greed and subscribers. I'm glad I purchased a new dash cams w/3 ch's and NO SUBSCRIPTION. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY ON NEAR.

Use to work great now it will not connect every time I start the jeep. Must reenter my phone number and enter a new code. EVERY TIME THIS stinks considering getting a different dash cam. This has become to big a hassel.

I can't delete any videos on the app, so it is using nearly 3gb of memory on my phone. The only way I can delete the videos is if I delete the app then I have to reinstall it and connect the camera to my phone. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
