Updt3: definitely much better. No more syncing issues. Wish option to sync to the cloud can be disabled. Thanks. Updt2: last app update claims that it addresses 'sync to cloud' issue - it does not. Desperately need option to manually sync to cloud. Updt: constantly trying to sync drives to the cloud. This is the most annoying thing ever. Solution is to log out from the app. Camera is great though and the app got better over the years...

The Camera is good for the price point. The software sucks the life from the battery. Older version of this software was not so battery heavy. Current version fails to close after uploading the video to the cloud. You need Wi-Fi on if you want to have the camera connected while driving so be aware of you drive, and it doesn't connect. Overall a good product. Still some little items to work on.

I highly recommend Near!! I've had great customer service provided by Christian and Rona. I love my dash cam and the quality video it provides. The Near Subscription is easy to afford and gives great camera capabilities to the user. Remote connection is awesome! 👍🤘

My Near pro with interior camera use to work decently about 2 years ago, but now it constantly disconnect from app, the app signs me out constantly, I can't get my interior camera to show up my clips even though all settings are correct as per Near help. It takes awhile for videos to sync. Get a different camera. This one is more problems than it's worth.

App and Cam were great together, now drives don't record and cannot keep Camera Connected to start automatically.

Use to work great now it will not connect every time I start the jeep. Must reenter my phone number and enter a new code. EVERY TIME THIS stinks considering getting a different dash cam. This has become to big a hassel.
