Updt3: definitely much better. No more syncing issues. Wish option to sync to the cloud can be disabled. Thanks. Updt2: last app update claims that it addresses 'sync to cloud' issue - it does not. Desperately need option to manually sync to cloud. Updt: constantly trying to sync drives to the cloud. This is the most annoying thing ever. Solution is to log out from the app. Camera is great though and the app got better over the years...

I highly recommend Near!! I've had great customer service provided by Christian and Rona. I love my dash cam and the quality video it provides. The Near Subscription is easy to afford and gives great camera capabilities to the user. Remote connection is awesome! 👍🤘

The Camera is good for the price point. The software sucks the life from the battery. Older version of this software was not so battery heavy. Current version fails to close after uploading the video to the cloud. You need Wi-Fi on if you want to have the camera connected while driving so be aware of you drive, and it doesn't connect. Overall a good product. Still some little items to work on.

I can't delete any videos on the app, so it is using nearly 3gb of memory on my phone. The only way I can delete the videos is if I delete the app then I have to reinstall it and connect the camera to my phone. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Absolutely nukes battery. Cannot mass delete drives from the app easily. App needs force restarts to work. Dashcam firmware is corrupted and does not record locally. Lost GPS and audio recording functionality. App does not play notification sounds when told to, frequently stops streaming mid-drive for no reason, and does not fetch camera only drives. Near functionality has decayed to the point that I will be decommissioning the dashcams from my fleet, as even the hardware is barely functional.
