Drive Smarter lets you use your smartphone as a companion to your DashCam.
A streamlined onboarding process lets you quickly connect your Dash Cam and configure it as part of your dashboard. You can "add" a virtual vehicle to your account, then add compatible* Cobra and Escort branded devices to your vehicle.
Users with mobile WiFi hotspots** can optionally connect their cameras directly to the Drive Smarter cloud, to avail of instant upload of videos and to share time-sensitive data and event information.
View recordings stored on your Dash Camera SD card; recordings are conveniently sorted by timeline which highlights events of importance; such as possible collisions or impact. Select files to download to your phone; trim video clips and share with your contacts using your favorite communications app.

Connected to a Cobra Rad 700i using a Pixel 10 Pro XL. Connected to my radar detector on second try. Works well on phone but not when using Android Auto. When using with Android Auto the speed is way off and fluctuates badly. For example if I am going 40mph the app shows I am going 7 to 14mph. Completely unusable that way. Again not an issue if using without connection to Android Auto. Also, the posted speed limit is not available most places, only major freeways. Really 3.5 stars.

Can you please remove the prominent red box showing when over the speed limit? Red is the worst color because it draws attention to it. I already know if I am speeding. Also, navigation screen is too zoomed in, can't see far enough ahead, especially when multiple turns are close together. I keep missing turns because I can't see far enough ahead to get in the correct lane. Currently, I need to fit another screen to run Google Maps.

This app sucks go back to old version plz. Won't connect, takes 4 ever to load, even paid the annual fee $59 for iradar drive smarter barely works

I re-download this just randomly after almost a year of it just randomly saying "app not responding" whenever I log in, It worked for two days and now whenever I open the app, even on Android auto, it still says "app not responding" I think I'm just going to get rid of my escort radar detector

This is the worst experience I have ever had with an app. I would not recommend the escort redline 360c. The app doesn't work at all. You are better off getting pulled over for speeding and pay the ticket than buy an escort radar detector. I would give a negative 5 star if they had the option.
