I would love to give it five stars however like previous posts about not centering. I agree it needs to be more like Google Maps where your perspective of your vehicle with relation to the map doesn't give you enough look ahead it's not that it needs to be centered it really needs to be centered more towards the bottom of the screen, so you have a maximized view of the map in front of you

The app works well when connected, however it's occasionally buggy. I've been logged out or the app has prompted me to subscribe. Restarting fixes things. Occasionally android auto doesn't want to switch between light and dark mode. My biggest issue is that even when running android auto, I must keep my phone screen on woth drove smarter open in order to maintain connection with the radar detector. Ideally I could lock my phone screen and run drove smarter in android auto while staying connected

App does not currently display posted speed limits. Using Waze or Google Maps is more useful than this app. Cobra or escort cams are the only cams work a bit with this app. Standalone radar are just as useful

I got a Cobra Drive HD dash cam, and installed iRadar to provide GPS data. iRadar started giving me a nag screen about switching to the Drive Smarter app. I installed Drive Smarter, but was unable to connect to my camera, after repeated attempts and resetting the camera and rebooting phone. I consulted the Cedar help page as given in several responses here, and found out that Cobra Drive HD is not on the list of compatible devices. Uninstalling.

Does not allow me to disable location. Keeps prompting that location is required even when I don't care about the map. I just need to access my dashcam.
