The app isn't perfect, but it's better than the classic one, and I can finally save clips straight to my phone instead of having to upload them first. If you're having problems connecting the app to your camera during the setup link it with the classic app first but delete classic once done.

Decent first experience. If you do a Livestream, Beam2 starts recording after your livestream stops. Not sure how I feel about that.

I have an LTE subscription and this app tells me every time that the camera might be in a place that doesn't have good Internet connection, even if I'm next to the camera with full bars on my phone, it doesn't connect at all, a lot buggier than the classic app for sure, I can't even view how the camera sees the road unless I check a video if it records.

Thought that this was going to be a great camera. Nope. I don't like that in the new app for it that there's no way for you to physically stop the live stream. It continually records for like 20 min after. If it were to be the same as the near classic app then I'd totally keep it. I'll go back to my near pro instead.
