Comments on Fitness PUMP for Android

I think the app is really good. When will you add a custom exercise option? Perhaps with a wide choice of icons for the picture. Also being able to add comments in the community section

★★★★☆ Ricardo Siqueira · Dec 17, 2024

Promessing but lacking basic thing alike alowing to save custom setting. It is very annoying to have to manually change the setting when moving from one exercise to the next... it should be as easy as tapping one button and done. So simple to implement, but it seems there is no focus on the obvious.

Pretty terrible app. I can't see my planned workout because it's hiding under the calendar days bar. And then it logs my workout to the day before even though it shows the correct date everywhere else? And when I look at history, it doesn't actually tell me what I did (even though I'm doing their workouts).

★☆☆☆☆ Roo H · May 10, 2023

It collects too much personal data, including location. And when I use a firewall to block its internet access (to stop it transmitting that data to the company) the app becomes unusable.

★☆☆☆☆ Jak Casey · Oct 16, 2025

Some of the worst UX and UI design I have ever experienced. They have "groups" for exercises, but this makes no sense for exercises which have left and right reps. When you set the pull mode, it doesn't update. You can't batch update multiple sets in groups - set all to 14 kg for example. In session, you can't adjust the weight mid set, the sets count 0 as its own rep, adding an extra rep each set. Utterly terrible design all through the app. I don't think they actually used this before release.

★☆☆☆☆ Bernard Kassab · Jun 29, 2025

App ruined: they seem to be pushing the Pump Max. I have a Pump Pro and no longer have the ability to manually change the weight in a free training session. Basically renders the device useless.
