The game is called 500 because the first team to reach a total score of at least 500 points wins. The game can be lost by a team losing 500 or more points.
This game features automated players with varying levels of ability, ensuring that the game is suitable for all levels of experience. Players new to the game, are able to practice , more experienced players get the challenge of tackling the more aggressive automated players.

About the developer. I learnt to play 500 at school and enjoy playing now when I find willing opposition. I developed this game because I wanted a 500 app that is fun and intuitive to play and has a user experience similar to when you play with a group of friends.
I will be continuing to develop and improve this app, as my time allows. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions you have.

Good version of 500. Would give 5 stars except for the computer AI: the opposing AI are always dealt at least half of the highest trump and non trump cards, while the player three quarters of the time is dealt queen high at best. The AI partner never bids even if they have a good hand.

Tried a few, this one seems to be the best out there right now. Like others have stated, your partner plays stupid at times, like when it's your bid, and he keeps drawing out trump when your opponents are out. This is when your partners work his off suit, so you can play your hand according to trump left in your hand. I find this so annoying. I rarely get the joker, my opponents get it 90% of the time which defies probability, so something is weird with that. But it's still fun to play.

Why can't bidding be done starting at 6 and eventually get to 10 not just bidding once. It is an awesome game which I thoroughly enjoy. A bit annoying my partners do not bid the value of cards they have in hand

So far I have downloaded and deleted a number of 500 apps. The main issue I have with the cpu player, and it seems the way the game is played in any app. The cpu player (your partner), more often than not chooses suit based on, I don't know what. When suit is made the cpu player leads the trump suit, doesn't off suit ever, and bleads you dry. When you lead an Ace of an off suit, rather than throw off, to win the trick, the cpu player trumps you, wasting a trump card. Ridiculous!
