★★★★★ I have found Flatmates a great platform for finding housemates.

★★★★★ Flatmates are great for finding a place or tenants, but there is 1 issue that needs to be fixed in the App - The 'Messages' screen in the App doesn't refresh every time I go to the 'Messages' screen (it doesn't show new messages as they come through). I often had to revert to manually checking messages on the Flatmates website (using my phone's web browser, instead of the App). Except for that issue, the App works great and Flatmates is very user-friendly - I recommend them.

★★★★★ There are issues with the shortlist updates, the list is still active, but it's hard to open individual accounts to access info through the shortlist and contact them. Very annoying! I would have thought easier access through a saved list was pretty much the point.

★★☆☆☆ The mobile app is super buggy, you open a message notification, and it takes you to the last message you had opened instead of the message you got a notification for. Also, it would be really handy if they had a feature with room listings when there's more than one existing housemate, you can all be listed and when someone inquires about the room, there's a group chat instead of one person having to go back and forth with the others and the applicant

★★☆☆☆ Terrible service, don't waste your money on upgrades! I got a bunch of messages in the first week of creating a free listing, the responses stopped completely after a week, I paid $45 for an upgrade and nothing changed. They told me I couldn't get a refund. Absolute BS. I recommend using just the free version, don't pay for upgrades!!!! And definitely use other services as well.

★★☆☆☆ In a housing crisis, with homeless people everywhere, Flatmates delays messages for subscriptions $20 for 10 days & $30 for 30 days! I hope you sleep well whilst profiting from suffering!
