The app works fine, but I am being charged even if I forfeit the blocks, which is abusive...

When you try to forfeit a block you got through the app. It shows no scheduled blocks to forfeit. I have emailed Flexer Support on many occasions, and they don't get back to me. The app will still charge the fee and Flexer Support won't reimburse you. I think this is how Flexer scams people by not paying back their fees

Steals your money. They say they only take 3%, but they take way more. If you cancel block they will still charge you for it even though they say they will not. There is no customer service to reach out to, so you are just getting robbed, and you have to deal with it. Don't download this app. You're going to get caught, and your account will be banned on Amazon flex.
