Japanese sections are extremely poor. Exercise pools are extremely limited, hints are often useless to nonexistent (i.e. "this verb tense is wrong", "this is not the right word to use here"), the vocabulary you're expected to be familiar with isn't documented anywhere for ease of integration with other learning and lessons frequently include concepts and vocabulary in exercises before they've been introduced. Totally unsuitable for learning without massive external supplementation.

One Star until the Audio Gets Fixed. In the N3-N1 lessons the male voice seems to have reasonable Japanese pitch accent. However, the female voice has extremely awkward pitch accent and often mispronounces vowels. This makes it nearly impossible to write out what is being said by the female voice until you get it wrong, memorize it, and then try again. This is not what learning looks like. This is a failure on the part of the app developers who are relying far too heavily on AI.
