2026 Update: since the refresh of the app it's not as easy to delete files, videos are beyond slow to upload, and trying to manually upload photos or videos from my phone gallery they aren't in chronological order. The auto-uploader says up to date, but it's not uploading the 3 videos from this morning. And the Pro price is going up again... as a Pro member since 2007, I'm not pleased.

On the recent update: The UI is klutzy and the UX painful. Even more galling is that Flickr short links 🔗 don't open in the app. Why fix it if it ain't broke?! On the earlier release: Have gone Pro in 2006, and my preferred app for sharing my pics Flickr Forever, which promises to retain photos for 💯 years, has only amplifies the feeling that it the numéro uno app for my memories: photos, videos, or screenshots of musings

I've been a Flickr Pro member for over 24 years and used to clucky Flickr phone apps - but this new version is a downgrade. In fact, it is dreadful. Can't add photos to groups easily. Only one group is displayed for an image even if it is in several. You now can't directly share an image to an Instagram feed. You can't add an image to the map. Very poor. Please can we have the old app back?

The one thing about the Flickr app is that it is constantly bad. It is single-handedly the worst app I have used on Android and no matter how many times they update it, it remains terrible. There are constantly issues with uploading photos from a mobile device. It constantly fails to load images when you try to view anything on Flickr. These are issues that have existed for years and have never been resolved. I'm almost certain the developers gave up on the app years ago.
