I have been using the app for several years. It has fulfilled a very important need for me. Recently a problem has developed that may mean I have to stop using it. I use Androids do not disturb feature to silence my phone when I have a meeting scheduled in my calendar. Do not disturb was not triggered by all day floating events. Now that is not the case. It is not acceptable for do not disturb to be turned on for all day events.

Former user of Polemical DateBk6 for PalmOS. Right now floating events is the one big feature Google Calendar is sorely missing. Google sometimes just don't get things right, and instead of just allowing users to set any event as a floating event, they implemented "reminder" events which have hardly any options compared to regular events, specifically they lack notifications and a description field. Floating Events elegantly turns any regular calendar event into a floating event. 10/10
