Great app. Works really well on my tablet, can take all my mags with me anywhere. Quality of pictures when zooming is excellent on a High Definition screen. Quick download on a good broadband connection. A great addition to a great mag.

Frustrating Pretty good overall, but takes a long time to download, and if the download is interrupted, you lose a page - presumably the one that was downloading. Very annoying as there's no way to redownload individual pages. This means you have to look through first to find blanks, then read unaffected articles, then redownload the whole magazine - hoping different articles have blanks. In countries with slow internet, this is annoying...

Like the Magazine But Not the App I've purchased FlyPast magazine a number of times in the past and was pleased to see it appear in Google Play. Unfortunately I find the app really awful to use. First of all there is no text view so every page has to be zoomed to a comfortable reading size which wouldn't be so bad if you could swipe to the next page at the same zoom level, but you can't. The help screen talks about accessing videos and image galleries, I never found videos or image galleries to view (July issue). In my view the app is just not friendly enough to consider buying a subscription, shame because I do like the magazine.
