a perfect TECH DEMO For people complaining that it doesn't work, and down rating it because it always says 1.0, STOP... This is a tech demo. Your phone (or tablet)'s hardware drivers may or not report the relevant details, this comes down to the OEM of your device including these details in hardware drivers or not. Not the app working or not. In the case of the Galaxy Note series, the drivers do not report these details when not using the S-Pen. The Nexus 6 reports "pressure" only at the beginning of a touch event or a substantial change in contact area, whilst the Nexus 9 reports continuous changes in pressure. These are device-specific quirks, Not problems with this tech demo.

Fake This app does not detect pressure sensitivity directly, instead it does a somewhat clever thing which is detecting the surface area of your finger that's touching the display, makes sense because regularly the harder your press, there's more area of your finger touching the display, but depending on the person, if you have a huge finger a light touch will register the same pressure as a hard press of someone with small fingers, so I'm guessing Android doesn't really support pressure sensitivity.

Fake It's actually impossible to detect as only one android phone made by Huawei has force touch. Android doesn't have drivers for this so this app cant possibly detect anything. As another user said it's detecting the amount of surface area of the finger NOT pressure. Fake!
