FosterLog: Foster Parent Log

FosterLog is a private, offline-first diary and record-keeping app created specifically for foster parents.

Foster care involves a great deal of important day-to-day information. Daily routines, behaviors, school updates, family visits, health information, achievements, concerns and incidents may all become important later. FosterLog gives you one organized place to record these details as they happen.

RECORD WHAT MATTERS

Use FosterLog to record:

• Daily foster care logs
• Observations and behavior notes
• Incident reports
• School and education updates
• Family contact and visitation notes
• Appointments and health information
• Achievements and positive moments
• Other important care information

KEEP EACH CHILD’S RECORDS ORGANIZED

Create a separate profile for each foster child and organize entries by child, date and category. Instead of relying on paper diaries, notebooks, messages or scattered documents, FosterLog keeps your records together in one convenient app.

FIND PREVIOUS RECORDS QUICKLY

Search your entries and use calendar views to locate previous daily logs, observations, incidents, school updates, family visits and health information.

CREATE CLEAR PDF REPORTS

Generate daily, weekly and monthly PDF reports from your records. Reports can help you prepare for meetings, home visits, case reviews and discussions with your caseworker or foster care agency.

PRIVATE, OFFLINE-FIRST RECORD KEEPING

Your records are stored locally on your device and FosterLog works offline. The app contains no advertising and does not collect or share your information with third parties.

Optional app-lock, backup and restore features give you greater control over your records.

SIMPLE PRICING

The free version supports one child profile. A one-time Premium upgrade unlocks unlimited child profiles and additional Premium features.

There are no advertisements and no recurring subscription fees.

IMPORTANT

FosterLog is an independent record-keeping tool. It does not replace your foster care agency’s reporting requirements, safeguarding responsibilities, professional guidance, medical advice or legal advice. Always follow your agency’s policies and procedures when reporting concerns, incidents or other important information.
