It's cute, and it had little lessons about life while you also track your mood and emotions and the reasons why you have those emotions. I find myself writing about my emotions and what I need to overcome, and it helps when you have your past problems written down in an appealing way and organized way. And you can also dress and costumes your little fox friend and his room with is soo cute. I'm using it for free, and it's pretty good overall, I don't really have anything bad to say.

One of my favorite apps. I also have finch, but I love that Fox Tale is so informative. I'm doing the ocean chapter and learning about anxiety-why it happens, what happens in my body, and coping mechanisms. I love the Journaling aspect of this app, and the gratitude jar is super cool too. Fox tale is introspective and definitely designed to help you track your emotions. Can't recommend enough. I only have the free version, but it's still exactly what I need.

It has nice tools for helping to deal with emotions, a lot of techniques scientifically proven to be effective. There is a plus subscription to it and there are a lot of features that should not be under paywall or that just feels greedy. Like monthly emotion analytics or changing colors of emotions. Most things can only be bought with plus, never appearing on the "free section of the store. They also used AI for some images and apparently icons, so I am not compelled to pay for Plus at all.

The art style is very cute, but I feel the description is misleading. The app advertises itself as a journaling and mood tracking app, but feels more like a CBT app to me. I also dislike that they deliberately withhold the option for a neutral emotion, and that custom prompts are only available for Plus members. Moreover, the structure and even the UI is a blatant copy of Finch.

A great app if you can pay. Without the paid version all you can do is log your emotions and collect items from the store. Unfortunate because I can't afford it but the grief storyline was really helping me. Edit: I only had the paid trial for 7 days and did not finish the grief storyline, so it's not that short, and you will need to pay to complete it.
