Freeze Batch: Ice Cream Log

Making ice cream again and wondering what you changed last time? Freeze Batch is an experiment journal for people who make frozen desserts at home. Record the ingredient amounts or process conditions you actually used, then compare texture with your previous batch.

Keep a recipe history for each experiment
Create separate experiments for different recipes. Name your variables and enter their current values. When starting the next version, use the previous values as a reference and record what you actually used. Repeating the same recipe becomes part of the history too.

Record each step from preparation to results
Save completion times for freezing and mixing or spinning, add optional notes, and describe the finished texture. Reopen the app to continue an unfinished batch.

Compare with the previous batch
View previous and current texture notes side by side. See which recipe variables were added, changed or left out, then rate the result as better, similar or worse.

Keep your experiments organized
Browse version history and choose which experiment appears on Home. Delete an experiment together with all its versions when you no longer need it. Light and dark themes are available.

Recipes and notes are stored on your device, with no account required. Cloud sync and backup or restore are not available. Usage analytics, such as screen visits and recording steps, are collected; recipe and note contents are excluded from analytics.

Capture what you learned from this batch before you make the next one.
