Best turn-based strategy game on android When I bought this game I wasn't expecting much at first, but after playing the tutorial I've got to say that Frozen Synapse Prime is a fantastic game. I've been looking for a great turn-based game since xcom is poorly optimized and breach and clear is disappointing, and I'm really impressed with this game. A must buy while it's still on sale!

Absolutely great game. While I don't really care for the campaign story
line, as it seamed predictable and repetitive, the levels were entertaining
and provided features that the scrimmages lack. The controls can glitch at
times. This usually manifests itself as a shapeform aiming to the upper
right of the map. This is caused when you attempt to confirm a target and
the game targets a point near the confirm button's location. Another bug I
found but haven't been able to replicate was where a shapeform (shotgunner)
was instructed to hold his position while targeting an area (a door). I
then instructed a enemy shapeform to sweep the room as he passed the door.
My shapeform would look to the left just as the enemy passed the door
shooting him (killing my shotgunner). I ran the preview a few times always
with the same result. I scrapped the plan for my shotgunner and
reinstructed him to aim at and through the doorway. He would still look to
his left just as the enemy passed the door. In the end, it played out just
as the preview had predicted.

Multiplayer? This game would be great for Co-op and vs gameplay online and locally, I don't know why you would not have it in such a game fit for it like this?

Great game but.. Works great on my Moto G, explosions can slow down performance a little sometimes. Sometimes it also crashes to home screen as well but not very often, not sure why. Would be great to see some DLC for this!

Frozen synapse Prime Why oh why did they not include online or even local multiplayer?!?!?! That would be the best part. More annoyingly, the previous version did include multiplayer! I'm baffled.

I know this is a great game anyway but if this title is "enhanced for Shield TV" and features "gamepad support" then why doesn't the right joystick actually do anything when I'm being told during the in-game tutorial to use the right stick to move the camera? That's something of a game breaker for me so honestly can't recommend this title if like me Shield TV is the desired system of choice. Will update review and rating if a solution is found.

Excellent I am a fan of the original and was excited to see this on here yesterday. I am quite disappointed the online multiplayer doesn't seem to exist though. Considering it is an asynchronous multiplayer game I would think there is no real-time multiplayer protocol that would need to be used. It seems almost lazy that the turns can't be submitted to a server and resolved once both turns are received (by server or client). EDIT: I just tried and found that not only does it not have online multiplayer but there is no pass-and-play multiplayer. Why... just why in the world would there be any logical reason to exclude this. This makes no sense. FS Prime works on my phone (Nexus 5) while the FS original is "not compatible" with my phone. Why??? The exclusion of even pass-n-play just makes no sense as it seems it would be near mindless to implement with what they have already working.
