Funa Gigs is Instant Hire for Uganda. Clients get a worker who is online nearby. Workers get paid jobs close to where they are. The price is shown up front, and Funa holds the payment until the job is done.

Instant Hire works in Greater Kampala (Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono). Anywhere in Uganda you can post a gig or apply for one.

FOR WORKERS: EARN WITH INSTANT HIRE
1. Add the services you offer and your rates in Work Hub
2. Get verified. Cleaning, electrical, plumbing, childcare and other services need a Funa check before you take Instant Hire jobs. Verified services show on your profile
3. Go Available when you're ready to work. Go offline any time
4. Job offers from clients near you show what you'll receive after the Funa fee, the distance, and the client's trust score. You have 60 seconds to accept or decline
5. The client pays before you start and Funa holds the money, so you know the job is paid
6. Mark the job done. Your pay reaches your Funa Wallet about 15 minutes later unless the client raises a dispute
7. Withdraw to MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money. You see the exact amount that reaches your phone before you confirm

FOR CLIENTS: GET HELP NOW
1. Pick a service: cleaning, plumbing, electrical, moving, delivery, beauty and more
2. Answer a few quick questions and set your location
3. See the most you will pay. If the worker's rate is lower, you pay less and the saving is shown
4. Funa sends your request to nearby workers who are online. The first to accept gets the job
5. Pay with Mobile Money or your Funa Wallet. Funa holds the money
6. Follow the worker on the map with a live arrival time. Chat or call them in the app
7. When the job is done, the payment is released, or you raise a dispute first

Repairs that can't be priced without a look start with a call-out visit, then you agree the full price.
