Comments on G Cloud Backup for Android

★★★★☆ Lew Franklin · May 24, 2026

G Cloud Backup is very simple. Download the app, set up an account, choose items to download and run. Larger backup space would be nice but a user can get upwards of 2 GB free and then pocket change for more. Update: 5/27/26 G Coud Backup stopped backing up my phone, but the app states the backup is being done. The online version verified the app is not backing up. Customer Support has not yet been able to provide a solution.

Really easy to use and when you run out of data don't buy more storage in-app purchase, buy it online I have seen it for $4.99 a year for unlimited storage, can't beat that

★★★★★ James Pollard · Jun 10, 2026

Gcloud is a brilliant app for storing import contacts, photos, and everything else and AI is a great addition good on Google Pixel 8 pro and Xiaomi pad 6 keep up the great work

I left my original review below, but I'm updating to report that my backup was completely deleted without ANY warnings being sent to me because I had to temporarily cancel my paid subscription for a few months. Garbage policy and garbage people running this app. I've used this app through 3 devices and for several years, and it's never let me down. Easy to use, great storage, and you can easily earn more for free just by doing simple things like following them on Twitter, writing a review, etc.

I prepaid for 400 gig storage for $19.99 a year for life 2 years ago when AI was to be released. Now that AI was finaly released, they will not honor the deal. Shady company! Update, contacted customer service again, and they doubled down on screwing me over! They took my 20 dollars 2 years ago, and they're not going to honor my purchase. Stay as far away from this company as possible! Crooked United Kingdom company!

I have been using this for years and years. I had so much of backed up data. Now suddenly it was updated and option for Facebook login has disappeared. I can't login now. what's going on here?
