Simply, set up virtually any target, press the Train button in the App and begin training. Additional to real-time hit location marking and auditory feedback for each shot, user can review each hit or miss shot afterwards and then continue training. Best Practices:
The app is designed for a wide variety of conditions and targets. For best results:
- Phone should be placed within a yard of the target and aligned as straightly as possible without obstructing the laser beam.
- If you are practicing with a setup the first time, we suggest you run a “Test Setup” before starting. It will let you know if there’s any potential issues with your setup.
- Avoid bright light, especially sunlight on or near the target. If you see large patches of light reflecting off the target in the camera view, they may impact the detection performance.
- Avoid back-lighting area.
- Avoid using damaged targets, sharp creases on the target, or on the edges of the target may impact the detection performance as well.
- Avoid using targets with a glossy surface or placing any shiny/highly reflective objects, such as tape in the camera’s view.
- Avoid areas where obvious lighting changes or shadows may exist.
- Avoid shaking the phone/target while in a session.
- Under bright light conditions, some deep dark targets with sharp white lines may interfere with detection. If the App misses detecting shots, try to decrease the lighting or move the phone back about a foot. Detection will not be affected negatively even when the target may look smaller in the camera view.
- If the app does not respond for more than 30 seconds, there may be a lighting problem. Close the App from the Android menu and run the “Test Setup” after restarting the App.

Comments on G-Sight Laser Training Pro - A for Android

Great dry fire practice. However, the "Shot Timer" portion of the app is a bit glitchy for the Galaxy Note 20 5G. False shots no matter what the lighting conditions are. Other than that I am still enjoying the G-Sight immensely.

Thanks for the quick response and emailing the G-Sight target. Been working great to improve on using pistol sights/ sight picture, and trigger squeeze. IMO better than buying SIRT type pistol as you're using your own pistols, and less expensive than SIRT type pistol.

Super Awesome and very Professional Developers and Customer Service! Now about this app... it's a great training aid! It gets you ready for the range saving you range cost and ammo. If you have a laser sight on your weapon/gun it's very easy to set it up with the G-Sight Laser since the G Sight is a bore laser...you just zero your laser to it (instructions are on their site). I only shot three rounds after adjustment, and they were all within a nickel. Hey do enjoy!

I could not get the app to register hits with the actual laser cartridge, but a weapon mounted laser worked (shrug). Update: Same results when using a Google Pixel 2 phone.

Does not work. It doesn't capture any shots or even register the paper target no matter what lighting or target I use.
★★☆☆☆Brandon Sherman· Jan 30, 2021
This app worked great for a few days and now it's having a ton of problems. The 10 shot version isn't even loading at all, so I cant use it. I have also had shots not register on the app that I have shot, and I have had the app register random shots I never even took. This app is poorly made and is almost worthless to me now. I've read the camera suggestions they have, and I contacted customer service but nothing they suggested have done anything. The laser itself works great but the app doesn't.
