GateNote: Address Notes

You worked out the gate code, which door the lockbox is on and where you can actually park without getting blocked in. Three weeks later you are back at the same address with none of it in your head. GateNote is your own delivery notebook, and it hands the note back to you when you arrive.

📍 NOTES THAT SHOW UP WHEN YOU DO
Start your shift and GateNote watches how close you are to the addresses you have saved. Pull up to one and it alerts you with your own note — before you are stood at the gate on hold to dispatch. One alert per approach, with a cooldown, so it never nags.

🔢 THE THINGS YOU ACTUALLY FORGET
Gate code, lockbox code, which entrance, where to park, the dog, the broken step, the neighbour who signs. The gate code is shown big enough to read at a glance from the driver's seat, with one tap to copy.

📷 A PHOTO IS FASTER THAN A PARAGRAPH
Add photos of the entrance, the keypad or the parking spot. Next time you recognise it instantly instead of re-reading your own directions.

🔍 FIND IT FAST
Search as you type, or let the list sort itself nearest-first so the address you are heading to is already at the top.

🕘 A VISIT HISTORY
Every arrival is logged on a date-grouped timeline, so you know when you were last there and whether the note is still current.

🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
GateNote is personal notes only. Nothing is crowdsourced, nothing is shared with other drivers, and no code you save ever leaves your phone. There is no account and no server. Lock the app behind biometrics, because gate codes deserve it.

🔋 BUILT FOR A SHIFT, NOT FOR ALWAYS-ON
Location is used only while a shift is running, with a visible notification the whole time. End the shift and it stops. It also ends itself automatically after the hours you set, so a forgotten shift cannot drain your battery overnight.
