Geev is fun! Each user has a stockpile of single-use bananas to use as credits for contacting other Geevers. When you contact someone about an item, you lose a banana. You can get more bananas by purchasing them or by donating more items. This system keeps Geev fair for everyone!

GEEV PLUS Geev is a free app that also offers paid subscriptions for users who want to increase their chances of giving away or picking up objects or food, while benefiting from an enhanced user experience.
The payment for a subscription is debited to your Google account when you confirm your subscription. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period, unless you deactivate it 24 hours before the end of the current period. The payment goes through on the last day of the current payment period. You can cancel or renew your subscription at any time by visiting the settings section in your Google account. The free trial period automatically ends when you subscribe to a Geev Plus membership.

Terrible experience. App does not work more than 50 percent of the time. There's always errors to post, send messages and signing in. The app is seriously lacking in all fronts. Very rarely do apps break so often, this is easily Top 5 worst apps and super buggy. And customer support is non-existent, and they charge you too.

I installed Geev for ecological reasons to give items a second life. The app is encroached with AI and will (poorly) generate your descriptions based on informations you will have to input yourself. You can turn it off but for a platform that promotes its ecological virtues, it should not be there to begin with. I should have looked Geev up before giving them a chance: their social media is full of AI slop. Shameful and disgusting lack of values. Greenwashing at its finest.
