Comments on Genesis Intelligent Assistant for Android

★★★★★ Chuck Miller · Jun 6, 2026

I locked me Genesis doors from 50 yards away, and it is enclosed in a metal garage. Using my phone and the app!

★★★★☆ Dan the Computer Man · Jul 25, 2026

It still has a few glitches, such as failure to save charging options, but overall I really like this app and the features. Especially when it reminds me my car is unlocked and my charging status.

★★★★★ Toni Muranaka · Sep 11, 2026

Took a while to get the digital key set up because my phone had to be in the car charger while having both key FOBs in the vehicle. Eventually, I had to use the call button in my car to get connected so a representative could walk me through why I wasn't able to sync. Everything is good to go now!🎉

★☆☆☆☆ Freeman Fong · Sep 4, 2026

The 2026 GV60 charging schedule is broken due to a major Genesis app bug. If I set a window (10:50AM-2:10PM) and select 'Charge ONLY', the Connected Services app overrides the car screen. Every background app ping pushes an unauthorized 'Charge Now' command. It starts early or ignores the timer entirely, costing me money on utility rates. Forcing a 'Next Departure' just to make a basic timer work is flawed logic. Fix the app's background API sync, so it respects the vehicle's manual settings.

★☆☆☆☆ Gene Luster · Jul 13, 2026

What a terrible app you can't paste codes when you reset your password the eyeball that lets you see the password doesn't work, and I have a car on there that's completely totaled that I can't remove. Genesis theses are simple fixes that really shows that your design people don't have a clue

★★☆☆☆ Joe P · Aug 4, 2026

Does not show vehicle picture on the main app screen since the app update on 8/3/26. Please fix so it shows the vehicle picture again. It worked fine before the version 3.3.1. Update!
