I'm happy with this app for the most part...everything seems to work just fine since I downloaded it about 6 months ago...the only problem I've had has been that just out of the blue the app shows my mileage at over 1 million miles...it's happened twice so far... I contacted support, and they remedied it the first time but just the other day it happened again... I give up on trying to fix the mileage...everything else that I really wanted the app for is still working flawlessly though

The app is awesome, but one must look at the eventual response to ensure no failure on important commands like locking the doors. Ask: If you attempt a start/climate command with the doors unlocked, please give notification immediately preventing command send instead of failing eventually.

Embarrassingly bad. Especially for a premium brand. The poor UI and slow updates are bad enough, but basic data just doesn't work. An entry level Chevy shows tire pressure, but not this app. EV charging shows blank space where actual data should go, or worse shows 'Level 2' when plugged into Level 1. Widget doesn't work reliably. Open trunk remotely? Nope. Open windows remotely? Nope. See interior temp? Nope. I give 2 stars because it (eventually) will at least lock/unlock doors.

Doesn't Work AT ALL My car has been at the dealership for almost 2 months, and they still cannot get GCS to work.

The app is essentially useless if you don't operate the vehicle daily for at 40 miles. The connected services drain the battery below the level of operation for the app to work properly.

I just got this car and the last guy has an account for this vin and there is no way I can see to show new ownership, there should be a spot somewhere is where someone can take a picture of their registration or something. So that they can show that this ven is now under their name so 1 🌟 till you add a way to fix this for me and everyone else who has paid good money for this 🚗 and wants all of it to work

Not bad as far as EV car apps go, but not great. 1. Manual update / refresh gesture is difficult. 2. The charging power (kW) has NEVER worked, always displays "--" kW. 3. TOU capability in Genesis EVs is buggy, so be ready for that. Otherwise, there's lots to love about Genesis EVs, and HMG EVs in general. 4. App upgrade forced (app disabled) after backend update. NEW: 5. Genesis Pay doesn't work, a comedy of errors. EDIT Jan 2026: updated app, all still problems. Email sent to Genesis.
