Introducing Genesis Digital Key for supported 2021+ Genesis models! Using Genesis Digital Key with a Digital Key-enabled Genesis vehicle, you can quickly access and control your vehicle using your smartphone. Genesis Digital Key also allows you to easily create, share and manage digital keys to give friends or family access to your vehicle. With Genesis Digital Key, you can:
*Lock, unlock and start your Genesis (requires NFC)* Using your smartphone, simply tap your phone on the door handle to lock or unlock your vehicle. When you’re ready to drive, just place your smartphone on the wireless charging pad to start your vehicle.
*Remotely control your Genesis using Bluetooth* Genesis Digital Key lets you remotely control your vehicle from a distance using Bluetooth technology. Use the buttons in the app to remotely start/stop your engine, lock/unlock your doors, turn panic mode on/off or open your trunk. To remotely park your Genesis, just tap the RSPA icon to easily pull in and out of a parking space using Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA).
*Share and manage digital keys* When you want to give someone access to your vehicle, easily create and send them a digital key. Once the invite is accepted, they will be able to use the Genesis Digital Key app to access or control your vehicle based on the permissions and time period you’ve allowed. Also pause your own digital keys or delete shared keys using the app or on MyGenesis.com.

Just bought my GV70 Electrified 2 weeks ago, and I set up the digital key tonight. The app kept saying it failed, so I tried like 20 times deleting and starting over. Then I decided to just test it out even though the app said it failed. Everything worked. So, even if you get a failure, test it out and see if it works before getting aggravated like I did. I still gave it 5 stars because if I wasn't drunk and high, I probably would have achieved success on one of my first few tries.

This app is a joke. . Try to add a new driver their verification code refuses to work. And in what world is this a replacement for a key. With a key in my pocket I can open the doors by touching the door handle. If I have my phone in my hand I can do the same thing but why would I want my phone in my hand to open my car? Then I need to put it in a special place to allow the car to start??? Oh you want to add a spouse? You'll have to redo through this process yearly. Far from luxury!

Stopped working after may update. Just like several other reviews, I had issues with the Genesis digital key app stopping working on my 2022 gv70. I talked to Genesis connected Services. They opened a ticket. It took like 2 weeks, and they finally got everything reset. I got the key to reconnect, however, it still will not connect via Bluetooth. It says it cannot find the vehicle. It will only work if I tap NFC on the door handle. For what they charge for connected Services they need to fix this
