Easy to use and understand. Fun and easy to use. Clear descriptions of card meanings, and comprehensive basic instructions on how to use the Normand system. Exquisite art work from Ciro Marchetti. This particular app is designed with pre-set spreads or free form draws, which I love. Additional cards may also be drawn for pre-set spreads. Option of interactive shuffling or go straight to a reading without the shuffle and draw. I can do quick Grand Tableau readings on the go without the hassle of a physical deck!

I bought the IRL Gilded Reverie cards, first, last year and worked with them for a while... Then I was hooked. I prefer the Normand deck for their intuitive, non-prescriptive nature, and lack of textual prompts. I find that too much printed textual hint at the "meanings" on a divination card can corrupt and force your interpretation. All of that is counterproductive to developing your own intuition. You want to be an uninfluenced, blank canvas in order to receive and pay attention to that spark of ANYTHING that catches your eye on that card... whether it's the traditional card meaning or part of the graphics, or something else that card reminds you of.... - that's what your "gut" (intuition) is telling you to build on and notice. I read and collect everything from tarot, vintage "fortune-telling" cards, to playing cards of all varieties and eras including a few homemade decks, and the Gilded Reverie Normand cards are in my top 3 of all time. I bought this app to keep myself sharp on intuitive interpretation wherever and whenever. It won't teach you Normand... Get a book for that (Rana George has a decent one or the Café Normand website for free tutorials). The actual card deck is beautiful and one of my favorites... This app keeps me from losing my card deck or ruining it while on the go :)

I agree with Julie Ts review this app needs to explain what the cards mean in their placement. I did 2 card reading... What does the on the left represent. BEFORE. And the right After? If you add a description for what thr card in that placement represents then this would be an amazing app

Though the deck and interface are good, the app does not provide any information on how to read Normand. The simple descriptions are sorely lacking in providing any tips on how to read mirrored cards or how they are read in combination. Also, the descriptions are not appropriate for this system, as they are too heavily reliant on describing them as though they were tarot cards. Normand is NOT tarot. Very misleading and disappointing.
