Description
Each day, you receive one card with a complete description of what that card means for you that day. Card texts were written in Dutch by the world famous card reader and scholar, Renée Merkestijn. Card texts are available in Dutch, English, German, Russian and Indonesian. Madame Lenormand was born in Alençon on May 27, 1772 and died in Paris on June 25, 1843. She led an eventful life predicting the future, for none other than Napoleon, Robespierre and Louis-Philippe, the French king. She was showered with honors but imprisoned when her predictions did not please those in power. She gave a new luster to predicting with cards. The fortunetelling cards named after her have been used with great success around the world for years. Today, they continue to offer guidance and perspective to people who seek clarity, comfort and gentle insight into their lives. Our daily card is designed to be simple, welcoming and uplifting. Each message is written to be clear and easy to understand, offering practical ideas and thoughtful reflection you can carry through your day. Whether you consult the card for direction, reassurance or personal growth, the brief yet complete description helps you connect the symbolism to your own life. The language is warm and inclusive, meant to meet you where you are and support your journey. The texts come from a place of deep knowledge and respect for the art of card reading. Renée Merkestijn’s interpretations are crafted with care, blending scholarship and intuition. Great app, accurate daily cards which are illustrated beautifully. Wish it kept a log of the daily cards though! Also, the app thumbnail is ugly and rendered badly and looks awful on the home screen. Suggestions for the developers, minor complaints only!

Been looking and curious how Normand calculates a 'daily' card. Can THAT card be used as a Signification Card, when doing expanded spreads ? (or does it not work that way ?)

Whole point of NORMAND, it's the biggest most powerful asset (how the cards interact with each other) is lost here as only one card is displayed as a 'daily card'. There are 36 cards in the deck it limits what the deck can tell you. The Normand deck was originally a game but by using the 36 cards with each other the permutations are many, the distance between certain cards and the order is what makes the system effective - you lose that with just one card.
