Excellent little gadget, easy to use and reliable. It was enormously useful last year when staying in a house in Turkey with no Internet, and has now unexpectedly come in useful in the UK, as our Wi-Fi has been off for 10 days, and our broadband provider has been unable to fix the fault in our local area. The app is very easy to use, too. It's quite expensive, but definitely worth it.

I've been using Locale for about 10 months I have to say it's by far one of the best out there, and I've tried several highly recommend ones, and I will say there junk. I fought with them over and over again, and I could never get them to work. I came across Locale and I said I'll give it one more try. Right out-of-the-box set up was a breeze I'm by no means have electronic smarts. Everything about Locale is a no-brainer buying packages setting the unit up and customer service is 1 of the bes

A little more of an ordeal getting started then expected and seems like it should ask what Country(ies) you want coverage for and then point You to the region of coverage e.g. Italy, then coverage = Europe.

Glocal me are a bunch of scammers who throttle your data. I've given them a chance after chance. It is absolutely disgusting to throttle data when not in use. I literally bought 10gb of data, shut off my computer and device, and only device connected. The next day I turn it on and optimize it, NOW I only have 2.34 go of data left. Huhhh? 6/16/25: more data just disappearing and never used. Now they charge more for fewer data. Glocalme is garbage.

App does not support HKM G009 while Locale for HKM does not support Android 14 - disappointing. Please update the other app or add support to HKM device on this app. Now it is supported. But I cannot link/add the device 'the device does not exist'. I'm able to do the same in IOS

Update: 2y later and still can't download/update anything from the app store while connected to a Wi-Fi plan from here. - The concept is good, but it definitely needs improvement. The internet is never fast (not even when paying for 5G) and you can not download or update any app with these Wi-Fi plans, which is a necessity if you are in another country. I literally have to look for free Wi-Fi everywhere just to download or update a few apps, which defies the purpose of paying for this plan.
