Gocycle Connect is the companion app for Gocycle where you can register and configure your Gocycle, change riding modes, use the live dash, review service data and view support pages.
GOCYCLE • Check your battery life. • See the total distance ridden on the Gocycle. • Change your riding mode between 4 preset modes Eco, City, Turbo and Demand. • Create up to 2 custom modes to suit your riding style. Choose when the assistance starts and maximum assistance is provided. • View hints and tips for getting the most out of your Gocycle. • Perform self-help diagnostics checks.
RIDES • Use your device as a Live Dash to see information from the Gocycle when riding when connected using Bluetooth. • See your speed, motor power usage, distance, DRL*, current gear*. • Change your riding mode. (Can only be adjusted when stationary). • Control the integrated lights*.
MORE • View your Service history and rate completed services. • Use the support section to find articles, manuals and contact us if you need further assistance. • Change the distance units for the app.

If you think of this app as a configuration tool for your Go Cycle, I would give it a 5-star rating as it does an excellent job for setting different profiles for different levels of pedal assist. And configuring the bike Firmware. It also is pretty good at recording historical data, but with no way to export the data. The value here is relatively low. As a bike dashboard, I would have to say I am disappointed in how it doesn't provide the basic functions of Trip Duration/Time/Cadence realtime. Given it logs these numbers, I hope that it can provide this data in a future release.

I know Go cycle was forced to make a new app due to changes by Google & while the old app was clunky the new one is just bad. It only sometimes connects, and I am now forced to connect every time I ride because for some inexplicable reason the integrated lights (NOT the DRL) always come on when you power up the bike & the twist switch no longer controls those lights. Then if it gets dark during a ride I have to use my phone to turn the lights on. Please change this Go cycle, it's an expensive bike!

The update will not let me connect to my frame. The dashboard display is gone. Bring the previous version back ASAP!

I don't like the new following locations and maximum speeds on V5 limitations. Is option to upgrade to this new version, but it makes no sense that with this new version you lose the option to choose the previous maximum speed of the bike capability.
