🔒 HOW BLOCKING WORKS: GodTime uses Android's official VpnService API to create a local on-device firewall. When you activate a profile or Church Mode, internet access is blocked for your selected apps — right on your device.
Important: GodTime is NOT a traditional VPN. It does NOT: • Change your IP address or location • Route your traffic to any remote or external server • Tunnel your data through any third-party server • Collect, transmit, or share any of your network data
GodTime creates a local-only connection on your device that acts as a gatekeeper — blocking internet traffic for selected apps while leaving all other apps unaffected. Because VpnService is used, Android may show a 🔑 VPN icon in your status bar while blocking is active. This is expected behavior required by Android for local traffic filtering and does not mean your data is being sent anywhere.
