Description

GOES App (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite App) is an app that allows you to view the various satellite images from both GOES 16 and 17, Himiwari, and EUMETSAT. These HD images are updated every 15 minutes, including live animated weather of the U.S. CONUS. From Alaska to NYC to Australia we now have real time HD satellite imagery everywhere, I wanted it for my phone for quick access.

★★★★★ Love the hi-res images. It's fairly quick, too. I left a star out for more functionality, but I'm not sure what options the developer has for more functionality. I haven't tried others. I really like having access to this, though.

★★★★★ Free app as it should be, since the source images are free to access. 3 satellites work, goes 16/17 and Himawari 8 (which is misspelled) Europe, Africa and India sats don't work at all. Needs a little work and a download button.

★★☆☆☆ I live in the Pacific, over several days I tried several times to get the Pacific image to show but no success. I uninstalled this app.

★★☆☆☆ Wouldn't display anything on my Galaxy Note 9. Looks nice and simple to use though
