I like to see the winds at the200mb level, gives the trend of the monsoon. Strangely the Jetstream normally over Jaipur / Delhi during onset of monsoon goes well North of the Himalayas, now over Northern J&K. The winds right now Easterly at the end of monsoon revert to normal Westerly. I should now have flown for 40 years.
