It does exist Couldn't find the option to choose the gold bar from the default version. When you get ready to place it on your screen there should be some kind of icon in upper right hand corner. My phone shows an artist paint pallet. Tap the icon and you should be able to choose between the default version and the gold bar version.

Uninstalled - disorriented on word google Where oh where has my little bar gone, oh where oh where has it gone. Finally found it. Must have go google search under go widget, look @ paintbrush pallet & touch it & scroll to the end. This is the go google default and not the go search. That's the trick.

Gold search bar When installed it want show! When you click open, it just goes to my home screen. Cannot find it in my applications nor widgets! Looks nice, but doesn't work.

Interesting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This used to work but the update breaks it and you can't use an old version because the latest launcher update days that it's incompatible. After loading the default search widget (must do first) you then long press on it and select a theme - default, transparency or gold bar. But the widget, whilst allowing you the choice ignores it and just loads the default which is ugly. The developers refuse to respond either here or by email. Interestingly, all the negatives reviews including my own have been wiped!!!
