★★★★★ This game is so awesome because and so challenging in the same time. I'm in level 4 and I can't get passed that boss. Its so op lol but I'll get it eventually. The only reason why I gave the controls four stars is because the ship is sightly in front of my finger. It bothers me a bit. But over all the game is magnificent like all of Scott's games :D.

★★☆☆☆ Love Hate I love The Desolate Hope, and I love the concept of making it into a shooting game, so it is with a heavy heart I say this doesn't play as well as I hoped. The style of Scott's games is INCREDIBLE, how it's all 3D-based yet feels like an amiga game or something! But unfortunately the ship's control doesn't work too well and most the time it doesn't respond very accurately. Sorry!
