Comments on Golden Hour for Android

★★★★★ Thom Bluemel · Apr 28, 2021

Quickly calculates daylight hours and other sun & moon effects! Great for gardening, photography and much more! I love it! This app continues to be one of my most useful apps! Lets me know when the sun will rise, set, make it dawn of dusk. Big help for gardening, spotting wildlife, photography, fishing - well, anything that requires knowing about the sun and moon. Still love it!

★★★★★ Mary Kirpa · Jul 13, 2024

Such a convenient app! It works flawlessly. I love planning my day around the sunset and golden hour.

I like the visual aide to show direction of sunrise and sunset from any specific location. Would be great to have something similar for moon phase, rise and set (maybe it's already there?). Good work.

I've used this app for a long time, but it has suddenly stopped working. Did a complete uninstall/reinstall to no avail. Sad. Luckily, other such resources are available.

★☆☆☆☆ Stéphane Paris · Jul 3, 2021

App was running perfectly... Until I updated it. Unknown error and that's it. No more golden hour timing 😔 note 10 +

★☆☆☆☆ Kevan B · May 22, 2021

Once again the app has stopped giving any notifications. This has happened several times before, and usually takes months before it is made functional again.

★☆☆☆☆ L P · Aug 24, 2022

Instantly crashes, when I try to launch the app.

Problem with Widget background color and Transference...

★★☆☆☆ Capybara Boomboom · Jun 17, 2023

It is crazy to me why you can't just point the phone, and it just POINTS where the sun will rise/set ? Right now I have to check the degrees and then open the compass app... It would be nice if the app showed you where it's going to be directly. Also, why not include the moon ? Moon is very important too... 😊
