I am continuously surprised by the excellence of my banking experience with USU Credit Union/Goldenest CU. It is a marvelous thing to be pleasantly treated as another customer. From, what we used to call a bounced check, to having what they call a "Courtesy Loan". And after all of that I have been exposed to the opportunity of life insurance throughout my life. And unless it was through my employer I could never entertain signing up. Then came GCU! I am amazed.

Access Denied. Garbage Credit Union. No phone, no service. The federal government cut pay, so the phone had to go. Now Goldenest refuses to do business with me because of it. It's proving to be a garbage credit union with a garbage app, and a garbage bill pay system. Unfortunately, America First Credit Union has them beat on every fault. If they allowed us to verify our account on the app with email like America First does, this review would be better. This app is 1/2 assed.

I am getting tired of being asked to verify my device every time I log in. even when I check the remember device button. So annoying.

Have always loved GCU mobile app. BUT after the last update in which "Cloudflare" verifying was added to the sign in screen, I can't log in every time now. What's happening is "Login" button will not light up until Cloudflare does its thinking and green check mark. Problem is that Cloudflare is NOT showing up Each Time to "verify", thus the Login in button Never lights up to log into the app. My whole family banks with GCU and have this issue on their apps too. Please fix this issue! Thanks

Unable to ever unfreeze debit card after a certain time in the evening generally after 9 pm to 10 pm, no matter how many attempts, refreshing, logging in and out, this has caused issues since getting t this account. its reliability is far less than any other bank I've used. I wouldn't recommend this bank because of this. Can't pay for anything, also no support for the hours that their glitchy app is not unfreezing my card. Will switch banks asap recommend others do the same.
