Followed steps... Followed all the steps, made firewall exception, opened ports and still didn't want to connect. Pretty bummed because it looks like quite a nice app. Gpad works better

stopped working & poor service tproduct worked until i paid for it. was asked to pay twice. product could not connect to server. googled "gremote pro", their website was flagged as malicious, after a few days, finally found their email address. emailed asking for a refund on one of the charges and for a working product. received no response. also notified them of google flag. after a few emails, they responded saying to reinstall. did not work. emailed again, no response to date. found gpad instead, is better.
