MonkeyMote gives you a full-fledged wireless music remote control for your Android phone.
It fully supports the popular foobar2000, MediaMonkey 4, Winamp, AIMP 2 & 3 and JRiver Media Center media players.
The app connects to the media player running on your Windows PC via your WiFi network and allows you to view information about currently playing tracks and control every important playback feature.

All you need to do to get it working is to download and install the plugin installer for your media player from www.monkeymote.com

Please note that the automatic server discovery feature requires at least Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is not supported by all devices. It is disabled by default on devices that are not running at least Android 4.4 due to an operating system bug that can trigger reboots on some devices.

Replacing Foobar2000 Controller which will be sadly missed. Monkey Mote has some advantages and disadvantages but is a perfectly usable and enjoyable remote. The paid version allows your music library to be displayed by folder which is what I need. I really like it.

Super unhappy with this. The one feature I wanted was being able to see lyrics. After checking lyrics are displayed by AIMP on my PC I can't find a way to have them display on my android. Help on this would be really appreciated.

Not enough track editing (delete from pc or playlist, etc.) of any sort of dark mode. It's not expensive, but it's a no from me.

It works fine, but the UX/UI is like something built by a 12 years old kid. Going back to foobar control which is so much better.

Regret paying for this very mediocre app, compared to the ios version, this version is very buggy and comes with a poorly implemented user interface. Don't waste your money on this.
