Description
SMS/Text a group of people quickly and easily.
No limit (phone may have limit; see FAQ. E.g. some telephone companies may only allow 10 texts). Users have reported sending over 750 in one go!
Uses your Gmail contacts and groups. History. Multiple account support. Group edit (via GroupManager). Name substitution using "$firstname", "$lastname" and "$fullname". Schedule messages: send a message later (Note that this new function is in Beta).
This app cannot be saved to the SD card due to an Android feature to allow it to Send Later.
Recent changes: Notify the user that Google are going to remove apps from Google Play that send multiple SMS messages, including GroupText.

I hate it when I get stuck in a group text where someone says something and my phone gets blown up when everyone says "ok". This app splits them up and sends individual texts. As a parents that coaches my kids sport teams I love this app. I can text parents as a group and not get all the confusion. I see some people don't like this but it is perfect for me. Thanks

Honestly. It would be much better if this app put all contacts into one singular message instead of texting as a third party in a singular fashion. Not sure why I can't seem to find a group messaging app that allows more than ten at once.

Group text messages are not being delivered to all intended recipients. GroupText App states that text messages were successfully sent and delivered but when we run tests through dummy accounts the messages are not reaching all the recipients. We ran over 50 test with the same outcome. Would be a great product if it worked, not very reliable. Still looking for a solution.

When you have multiple numbers under one contact it shows all those numbers available for selection to text. But it defaults to "custom" to identify each person even though I have entered the specific name of the person. So unless I know each number off by heart, I can't use it to select the correct recipients. Also it doesn't provide a delivery confirmation for each recipient, which is vital.
