Check live train times
Use station board arrivals and departures to check your train times.
Speed up your transfer
Know which platform you will be going from and to - especially helpful when your train is late which squeezes any already tight connections.
This app provides LIVE train arrival and departure times and is
NOT a journey planner; for that I suggest you use e.g. the National Rail Enquiries (NRE) app.
Nor is it trying to compete with the train companies and NRE. They have better access to the information but tend to be more focused on selling tickets;
This live Station Board app is a little smaller, simpler (to use) and more aimed at catching your connection using the arrival and departure times and platform numbers for your station.
It also shows reasons for delays and cancellations, station notices, details of the train service and (where the train operating company provides it) the number of train coaches.
• Connecting services are not shown - only direct trains.
• Arrival and Departure information made available by the Rail Delivery Group (RDG); https://raildata.org.uk.
• RDG limits live arrival and departures information for a station to only 10 trains and/or the next 2 hours.
• RDG only supplies train times for England, Scotland and Wales (GB) - not Northern Ireland.
